Patient Information

We understand the family’s need to be kept informed of the patient’s progress and we encourage support. Once the patient is admitted to the Behavioral Medicine Unit, a family member may be given an access ID number. This access ID number is released only to selected individuals and only with permission from the patient. This ID number allows family members to have either personal or telephone contact with the patient during their stay.

Going Home

Together, the patient, the family and the treatment team develop an appropriate aftercare plan. This may involve a day hospital program, a community-based program or outpatient therapy. Our goal is to help each individual continue the progress that he or she has already made in the hospital.
